Visibility across borders

Brazil should be part of your portfolio. Not a blind spot.

When records, updates and instructions live in different places, a simple portfolio question becomes another round of emails.

01
What changed at INPI?

You need the relevant publication and matter history, not another afternoon comparing spreadsheets, search results and status reports.

02
Who is following up?

A publication is only the beginning. Someone still needs to review it, confirm the next step and keep the matter moving.

03
Does this filing need our attention?

A potentially conflicting trademark application deserves a considered review. It should not disappear between monitoring and the next client conversation.

MyPI brings the Brazilian side of your workflow together, so your team can spend less time reconstructing the picture and more time deciding what to do.

From information to follow-up

From an INPI publication to a clear next step.

Search the records. Review the update. Assign the follow-up. Keep the matter in context.

MyPI combines Brazil-focused information and portfolio workflows, helping your team organize what needs attention before the next discussion with a client, colleague or local counsel.

1Find

Find the Brazilian records that matter.

Search by application number, applicant or representative. Use trademark-specific search tools to explore similar marks and narrow your review.

2Monitor

Bring relevant publications into view.

Follow RPI updates linked to the matters you monitor. Review publications with the portfolio context your team needs.

3Organize

Give follow-up a place to happen.

Keep matters, tasks, responsible people and deadlines organized. Review renewal or annuity windows and confirm the next step with your team.

4Coordinate

Go into the conversation prepared.

Bring together matter history and pending work before you update a client or speak with your Brazilian associate.

Features, monitoring coverage and limits depend on the asset type and contracted modules. MyPI supports professional review; it does not replace official records, legal assessment or verification of payments and deadlines.

Brazilian trademark watch

See the potential conflict. Lead the client conversation.

Your Brazilian trademark portfolio deserves more than status checks. MyPI’s trademark-watch module compares newly published applications with monitored marks and brings potential conflicts into a review workflow.

For IP firms, a relevant alert can open a justified advisory engagement. For in-house teams, it gives you a clearer basis for protection decisions.

See trademark watch in action
  1. 01

    Identify a potential conflict.

Bring relevant similarities to your attention instead of relying on a manual review of every new publication.

  2. 02

    Assess what it means.

Review the marks, goods and services, and case context with the professionals responsible for the portfolio.

  3. 03

    Turn the decision into follow-up.

Record the assessment, organize the task and discuss the appropriate next step with the client and Brazilian counsel.

A similarity alert is a starting point for legal review. It is not proof of infringement, a guarantee of risk or an automatic reason to file an opposition. Trademark watch is an additional module and has prerequisites.

Better visibility. Same trusted relationship.

Keep your Brazilian counsel. Gain your own portfolio view.

This is not about replacing the people who handle your Brazilian matters. It is about giving your team a more organized way to oversee the work and prepare the next conversation.

Before we meet

Questions about managing Brazilian IP with MyPI?

Start with what matters for a cross-border workflow. Bring the rest to your demonstration.

We already work with a Brazilian associate. Why consider MyPI?

Keep that relationship. MyPI gives your team tools to search Brazilian records, organize its portfolio view and follow relevant publications. The goal is to prepare better instructions and conversations, not to replace local legal advice or representation.

Is this software, or a service for filing trademarks and patents?

MyPI is software for intellectual property workflows. This form requests a product demonstration, not a legal-services engagement or an application filing. Legal representation and any work by Brazilian counsel are separate from the software subscription.

Can we work with both trademarks and patents?

MyPI provides search and portfolio tools for Brazilian trademark and patent records. Search fields, publication coverage and available workflows vary by asset type and module. We’ll confirm the relevant scope for your portfolio during the demo. Trademark-watch functions are specific to trademarks.

Where does the information come from? Is it real time?

MyPI uses information from INPI’s records and publications. RPI-based monitoring follows the official publication cycle and MyPI’s processing of that information; it is not a continuous real-time feed. Official records remain authoritative, and your team should verify legal deadlines and procedural requirements.

Can we discuss Brazilian matters under Madrid or the PCT?

Yes. Tell us about the Brazilian stage you need to follow and the application or reference numbers available to your team. We’ll verify which records and publications MyPI can cover. Brazilian-stage coverage is assessed separately from the international proceeding; a direct WIPO integration is not assumed.

Can our team use the platform in English?

We’ll show you the current interface and confirm language options for your team, reports and support before you subscribe. Tell us your preferred language when requesting the demo. Official INPI source documents may remain in Portuguese.

Can we keep our existing international portfolio system?

That is a useful starting point for the discussion. We can review your Brazil-specific needs and the import or export options relevant to your workflow. Compatibility, data formats and any required integration must be confirmed; this page does not promise a ready-made connection to your existing system.

How does the subscription work for an international team?

Your subscription starts with a base plan that includes search. Optional modules extend the workflow, with their own requirements, limits and charges. Before you subscribe, we’ll confirm the setup, contracting and billing arrangements available for your organization. No payment is required to request a demo.
